The Dixon's crew did a sensational job removing our very, very large and hazardous gum tree over 2 days in very difficult conditions. The first day was nearly 40 degrees and the next day was wet and slipery making everything that much more difficult. The job was completed professionally and quickly under the circumstances. Recent removal of big old angophora in our front yard was our fourth such over 30 years in the Mountains. Compared to 'one-man' outfits used in the past, Dixons were entirely professional - from timely, well-informed communications with their office through to competent, well-equipped and efficient crews on the ground.
From start to finish, I give Dixon Trees a five star rating. Conversations to attain a quote the front office was done in a polite and professional way. Ben (the assessor) was courteous and knowledgeable listening to all our concerns regarding the upcoming tree work. The work was scheduled in a prompt and timely manner. Both Michael and Sam were absolutely great, they listen to the final points of the job at hand and carried out in a professional and caring manner. We had a dead gum tree at the front of our property that was in danger of being blown over in the next storm. The team from Dixons were able to quote the job and get the tree removed at short notice.The quote was comprehensive and absolutely exceeded my expectations, it was a lot cheaper than I thought it was going to cost noting the tricky location.The team that removed the tree were complete professionals and super courteous. I had a few questions for them on the day that they were more than happy to answer and they gave me some great advice on how to manage the stump.It's always a challenge to find good tradies who turn up on time etc, but the team at Dixons are top notch and I would have no problems recommending them to family and friends.We couldn't be happier with the job they did for us.

We had an emergency situation with a large tree after a couple of days of heavy winds . The team at Dixons responded with speed in securing the a dangerous branch and returned the next day to remove it and provide feedback on the safety of the tree. The service was brilliant and I would recommend this service !
Dixons trees are so professional! The elm branches were overhanging my house so it was time for a prune. The treeferns were unscathed and the elm looks a whole lot better. Having major work done to the front of your house is a big decision and you need someone you can trust. Trust me, you can trust Dixons. They did a fantastic job of my new driveway, were polite and professional to deal with, and handled all the council regulations no problem. They turn up on time, and clean up afterwards. They even did little extras like adjust my side gate - nothing was too much trouble for them. I can thoroughly recommend them.
Ive only Dealt with guys doing the quotes for Dixons three times over the years i always give people a fair go. But three strikes now and no more. Quotes are double than anyone else, they lack interpersonal skills when dealing with people and explaining of work to be carried out. The reason we asked you guys was to fix a problem and bring it up to current BCA standards, which was explained to you. But it felt like everything was a drama and you were just trying to big note yourselves. There's better local guys around who can't do enough to help out, and offer different options to rectify issues.

Darren and his crew did a marvellous job today. They arrived on time and had the job completed in approximately 3 hours. They behaved in a very courteous and happy manner, during the process of felling 4 large palm trees and trimming a large grevillea. They did a good job cleaning up too. We had a 30m dead tree removed by two members of the Dixon team. They were very skilled at taking the tree down, always professional, courteous and with a focus on safety at all times. A great job, on-time and cleaned up afterwards. They even stacked the logs with the rest of our firewood ready for next season. Reasonably priced and highly recommended.

Darren and the team from Dixon Trees removed a huge deceased Deodar Cedar from our garden with incredible skill and equipment. Our precious Spring garden wasn’t damaged at all. Most importantly our neighbours property was also left undamaged and spotless .They graciously allowed a crane in their driveway to lift the huge pieces of tree over both our houses so we were a little apprehensive but all went so well.Thanks guys we are very grateful.

Please pass on my thanks to Darrin and team for the proficient manner in which they removed a large tree for us at Dulwich Hill last week. They were fast, courteous and did minimal damage to the rest of the garden. This is the second time we have used Dixon’s and both times the teams have been professional, punctual and efficient.
The team were friendly and professional. Their happy upbeat demeanour made dealing with them very comfortable. They worked quickly and efficiently and went above and beyond on the clean up. I will definitely be using Dixon’s Trees in the future and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dealing with Dixons is so easy. It took no time at all for them to come out and quote on our job. The office fits in with your commitments before they book you in. Then the following week they were here. The boys are remarkable at what they do. Their safety procedures are a testament to them. No damage to any existing plants in the yard. They clean up like they were never there. We have no hesitation to recommend Dixons to anyone.
Dixons trimmed three large trees for us. We knew from local friends that recommended them, that they were very competitive and did a good job. On our first meeting for a quote, we were very impressed with what they proposed to do and they took photos and video. Our written quote was highly professional and included photos. The job was completed in the time frame and the finished result was excellent. They were very careful not to damage our garden and cleaned up afterwards. The trimmed branches were mulched and removed. A very positive experience and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
These guys are seriously good! Dixon's recently removed a tall tree without a crane in a very inaccessable and challenging location on our property with no room for error. They handled the work very professionally and skilfully and did a great clean up job. A little pricey but was definitely worth it when you see the effort involved.

Cant fault Dixons service. From the qoute to finish, service was awesome. I have a large tree with branches hanging over my house, they came in did the job no issues. I like the fact they consulted me on certain branches if i wanted to keep or not based off aesthetics and not just cut what they thought. Removed and cleaned up any mess. Highly recommend, will use again.
Really prompt customer service and competitive quote. There were slight delays for our work to be completed due to weather events and COVID but we were kept up to date throughout (our work was non-urgent). Crew that competed the works (tree removal, stump grinding and tree pruning) were on time, professional and completed the work with excellence. I recently purchased a house overgrown with trees including a giant Indian Rubber tree that no company wanted to touch. Dixon's quote was for the removal of 20 trees including the Rubber tree and stump grinding. Their quote was cheaper than other quotes I received. Dixon's was a pleasure to deal with from initial inspection; the people in the office to the crew removing the trees and stumps. The professionalism and expertise Dixon's provided was better than any other organisation I've dealt with during the renovation process, even with some hiccups which were swiftly dealt with. All of our neighbours commented on how clean the street was left each day, as was our yard. Highly recommended!
