Brighton Le Sands, Sydney
Client: Bayside Council
When Bayside Council needed expert help restoring their iconic beach walk, they turned to Dixons Trees. Vandals had deliberately poisoned and damaged multiple trees along the scenic coastal path. To repair the tree line, the council required large, mature pines.
Without delay, Dixons sourced two well-established Norfolk Pines and coordinated their transplant within days. Using a Franna crane, our team ensured a seamless and efficient planting process. Council workers stood by, ready to install protective fencing the moment the trees were in place, safeguarding them from further harm.
Beyond the standard post-transplant care we always provide, Dixons took extra measures to secure the trees’ future. We installed a custom-locked water timer, ensuring precise, scheduled watering while preventing any tampering. Thanks to this collaborative effort, the beach walk’s natural beauty was restored, and these new trees are set to thrive for generations to come.
From the Bayside council co-ordinator of parks and open services:
“Dixons Group have been extremely professional and quick to action this highly sensitive operation for Council. Their instillation of superb tree stock was a smooth and well managed operation. The on-site staff were highly knowledgeable and friendly which ensured the ongoing business relationship with Council. It is evident that Dixons is a great company to work with who truly care for what they do.”
