Careers at Dixons Trees

Good crew, the right equipment, consistent work

We are always looking for qualified arborists, experienced operators and reliable crew to join the Dixons Trees team. If you take your work seriously and want to be part of a professional operation, we want to hear from you.

What you get working here

Why Dixons Trees

We are not going to tell you we are a “family” or that we have a ping pong table. We are a tree services company. What we offer is straightforward: consistent work with good equipment, a crew that knows what they are doing and an operation that is run properly.

  • Consistent, year-round work

We have been operating since 2009 and we are booked consistently. You are not sitting around waiting for jobs. The work is there and it is varied: residential removals, commercial clearing, transplanting projects, council work.

  • equipment

    Specialised equipment

We own our fleet. Whole-tree chippers, stump grinders, excavators, elevated work platforms, cranes, skid steers and specialised relocation machinery. You are working with the right tools, not making do with whatever is available.

  • Safety is not optional

Every job has a work plan. Every crew member wears proper PPE. We hold ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) accreditation and $50 million public liability insurance. We take safety seriously because tree work is dangerous work, and going home in one piece is not negotiable.

  • Professional standards

We are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accredited. We work to Australian Standards. Our customers include councils, developers, strata managers and commercial property owners who expect documentation, compliance and quality. If you want to work to a high standard, you will fit in here.

  • local source

    Locally based

Most of our work is across the Blue Mountains, Penrith, Hawkesbury and Western Sydney. Our transplanting division covers a wider area, including the Central Coast and South Coast.

  • A crew that stays

We keep good people by treating them well, paying them fairly and giving them work they can take pride in. We are not a revolving door. Many of our crew have been here for years.

The kind of people we hire

What we look for

We hire people who do good work and are easy to work alongside. Qualifications matter, but so does attitude, reliability and the ability to get things done without being told twice.

  • Ground Crew

You are fit, reliable and willing to learn. You follow instructions, manage waste processing, operate chippers and keep the site clean and safe. Prior experience in tree services or landscaping is valued but not essential for the right person.
